This April, during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we are launching something the world has never seen before: Denim Runs—a national series of runs and wellness festivals created to support, uplift, and celebrate survivors of sexual violence.

Think Race for the Cure, but teal and denim.

Our inaugural event will take place near the Santa Monica Pier, followed by Austin and New York City, bringing together survivors, advocates, runners, artists, and communities.

We are seeking $100K to fund these activations safety and effectively- covering permits, programming, survivor resources, and creating a powerful experience for the thousands of people who will gather together.

Denim Runs are inspired by Denim Day, a global movement that began after a harmful court ruling blamed a survivor for her assault based on what she was wearing. Wearing denim became a symbol of solidarity—and a declaration that victims are never to blame.

Together, we can turn that symbol into movement, community, and real change.
