One night. Every imagination on Maui.

Somewhere on Maui tonight, a teenager is rehearsing lines in a cafeteria that doubles as a stage. On February 28, we're raising the money that gives that kid a real one.

What your gift does

$350 General Admission: seats you at the table and helps fund scholarships for young performers
$5,000 Assistant Director: reserves a table of 10 and helps bring a school production to the stage
$7,500 Director: reserves a table of 10 and helps fund teaching artists in Maui Nui classrooms
$10,000 Producer: reserves a table of 10 and helps pay local musicians and artists for live performance

Your table puts a young performer on a real stage. Producer, Director and Assistant Director sponsorships are limited. Reserve yours before they're gone.

Give in Vinnie’s honor. Choose “I’d just like to donate,” pick any amount, then tick “Give in honor/memory.”

The Wave of Harmony Gala 2027: An Evening of Imagination
Presented by Julie and Josh Dorkin
Honoring Vincent “Vinnie” Linares
Sunday, February 28, 2027 · Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea
Benefiting the Maui Nui Performing Arts Education Fund

Inspired by "Pure Imagination," the evening celebrates the songs and stories that first taught us to dream bigger than the room we were in. Enjoy a three-course dinner, a Broadway-style show and Raise the Paddle, in a room full of the people who keep the arts alive across Maui, Lānaʻi and Molokaʻi.

Why we do this

At nine years old, Barry Kawakami stepped onto the Baldwin High School PALC stage under teacher Sue Ann Loudon, and it changed the course of his life. Wave of Harmony Foundation exists to give every young person on Maui Nui that same moment.

Where the money goes

Net proceeds from the gala benefit the Maui Nui Performing Arts Education Fund, supporting school productions, scholarships, teaching artists and the local musicians who make live performance possible.

Our mission: We exist to empower the next generation, support our community, and build opportunities through performing arts education, cultural programs and world-class experiences.

Every Voice. Every Stage. Every Seat.

Wave of Harmony Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 93-2418064. Only the amount above fair market value is tax-deductible ($300 per seat).
