The Girasol School opens doors in August 2024! Our mission is the provide equitable access to quality education. We are the first authentic bilingual Montessori school in Dorado to provide two-thirds of the students with scholarships. Our community serves ages 3-6 in the Primary environment and ages 6-9 in the Lower Elementary environment.

We are looking forward to welcoming the founding families who believe in our mission. At this time we are in need of further support fundraising for start up costs to get us on our feet this first year of operation. Some of the greater start up costs include:

Facilities: creating a beautiful indoor and outdoor environment ($20,000)
Classrooms: furniture, Montessori materials, organization essentials ($20,000)
Paying our Teachers: competitive salaries and continued education ($30,000)
Scholarships: our mission is to provide need based tuition for two-thirds of our students ($80,000)

Fundraising Goals

Our fundraising goal today to cover start up costs is $50,000 to cover start up costs
Our fundraising goal through 2026 is to reach $150,000 to cover our expenses for the first 2 years
