Join us at the annual Spirit Week Silent Auction benefitting the Emerson Rose Heart Foundation at Magnetic South Brewery on Tuesday, 9/24 at 7pm. They will have food and drinks onsite to sell, and we are so excited to have a new location!

Created in honor of their daughter Emerson, who battled being born with a congenital heart defect, this organization is a mission driven by the desire to transform the lives of families struggling with the hardship of having an infant born with a congenital heart defect. While Jason and Susan smith had to deal with the difficult loss of their first child, they have decided to have a lasting impact on other infants and families by helping them fight through the same challenges.

This foundation focuses on four key areas as follows: improving the quality of medical care for children with congenital heart defects; providing support to children and families impacted by congenital heart defects; funding research grants in areas such as heart transplant early rejection detection in order to improve outcomes; and AED / CPR training in schools and communities.

The Emerson Rose Heart Foundation allows these infants and parents to feel strong with a positive support system, as they navigate the difficulties of CHD's. In memory of Emerson Rose, Emerson's parents aim to make all of the infants, parents, nurses, and more feel at home. By backing the Emerson Rose Heart Foundation, Spirit Week supporters are actively contributing to a better health outlook and future for these infants, and keeping their parents in a positive mindset along the way.
