I'm Celeste Spiers, founder and Head of School. I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) and Qualified Instructor (CALT-QI). I have been providing therapy directly to students in the Dallas area for over twenty years, and training teachers to be dyslexia therapists for over a decade

I am a passionate lifelong advocate for education, and founded Hope Academy for Dyslexia because I wanted to provide the best environment for my students to flourish. I'm also the parent of a student with dyslexia, and my practice has only improved with the experience of being her mom.

Our school is small, and one of the best aspects is the lifelong relationships we form with our students and their families. Nothing makes me happier than when a parent who feared their child would never learn to read reaches out to proudly tell me about their student's latest accomplishment!

As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we are also facing new challenges. Rising costs mean we are seeking the capacity to offer further financial assistance to our families; we've never turned a child away and we don't want to start now.
