In response to further attacks on Transgender Texans by our home state, the Local Queer Foundation presents Transistance: A Trans Community Benefit Brunch. Transistance is a fundraiser for the transgender community produced entirely by transgender creators featuring DJ Boyfriend ATX, an all-star transgender drag cast led by Alexander the Great, a pop-up market with transgender vendors, and brunch from Urban Cowboy Catering.

Funds raised at the event will be used to financially support transgender Texans in updating their legal documents to match their identity. We invite the queer community to show transgender Texans that they are not only welcome in Texas, but supported, represented, and celebrated.

Feed the community! We are searching for a Catering Sponsor to alleviate costs associated with the brunch portion of the benefit. This sponsorship level will provide assistance for 5 transgender adults to update their legal documents.

Entertain the community! We are searching for a Drag Show Sponsor to alleviate costs associated with the drag show portion of the benefit. This sponsorship level will provide assistance for 2 transgender adults to update their legal documents.
