The Mandalorian Corn Maze Silent Auction is part of This Is The Way Foundation’s September 12 fundraising event, created to bring our community together while supporting the fight against pediatric cancer.

This Is The Way Foundation was created in memory of Spencer Thorsland, who battled cancer for 3½ years before passing away at age 13. Spencer faced an incredibly difficult journey with courage, determination, humor, and a phrase that became especially meaningful to our family:

“Eventually.”

That word now represents hope, perseverance, and the belief that even through the hardest circumstances, we can continue moving forward and make a difference for others.

Proceeds from this auction will help This Is The Way Foundation continue Spencer’s legacy, including growing the Eventually Scholarship, which supports students pursuing careers in the medical field, and building future programs that support those impacted by pediatric cancer.

Our first Eventually Scholarship was awarded in 2026, and our goal is to continue growing its impact in the years ahead.

Online bidding opens September 5 and closes September 12 at 8:00 p.m. CDT.
