What Your Gift Does

Vertile Foundation runs a children’s home for 20+ kids and a K–12 school serving hundreds in Haiti. In a year of hunger, violence, and closed schools, we’re keeping doors open, plates full, and kids learning. 100% of your gift goes to programs in Haiti — our Board covers all U.S. admin and fundraising costs.

Why Now

This is our Annual Giving Campaign. Instead of a big party, we’re asking you to give online—and every $1 is matched 1:1 up to $50,000 through November 16 (thanks to a Leadership Match from Rico & Melissa Changeux and Eric Roza).

In Haiti, half the country—about 5.7 million people—faces daily hunger, 5,600+ were killed last year amid gang violence, and 1,000+ schools have shut; your gift today keeps our children’s home and school open.

A Child's Story - Samson

After armed gangs burned his home, 12-year-old Samson and his little sister slept on the dangerous sidewalks of Port-au-Prince for months. Our house manager found them begging outside a bank and brought them to the Vertile House. Today, Samson has a bed, clean clothes, and three meals a day—and he’s back in class.

When asked what matters most:
“Food for me and my sister and a safe place to sleep.”
