We—a small group of immigrant and non-immigrant western MA-based organizers—are working to support families and community members who are confronting the heartache and overwhelm and many other impacts of being targeted by ICE in these times. Our work is informed by training from prominent immigrant rights organizations in the state.

We're in it together, with our immigrant neighbors, navigating the fall-out, which often includes family separation, as we build webs of care and resistance. To date, a half dozen "care collectives" have sprung out of our work—smaller groups of community members that are offering support to specific families.

In today’s landscape, showing up for each other is as important as ever. In the 1978 words of poet, teacher, and activist June Jordan: “We are the ones we have been waiting for.”
