The situation with the electricity supply in Ukraine remains difficult. About 50% of the critical energy infrastructure remains damaged. One of the most vital tasks is to continue supplying generators for medical institutions, where doctors often work by the light of lanterns.

Mobile field hospitals and "stabilization points" are the healthcare facilities closest to the front lines. Wounded soldiers and civilians are brought there to be given urgent treatment and to be stabilized for further transit to larger hospitals.

A reliable electricity supply is essential to operating these facilities, but they can no longer rely on the grid due to Russian attacks on infrastructure. Therefore, portable generators are required. These are typically 5-8kW units that cost approximately $2,000-$3,000 in Europe.

Once battlefield wounds are treated in the field, hypothermia is a major risk. Therefore, other means of keeping the patients warm are also needed: thermal blankets, sleeping bags, heaters, etc.
