About the Event

Warm Blessings Community Kitchen invites you back to The House on Helm for the WBCK Empty Bowls Gathering, an evening of shared tables, handcrafted bowls, and community generosity — all in support of our mission to provide nourishing meals, stability, and hope to those facing food insecurity and homelessness in Hardin County.

We're delighted to return to this beautifully restored historic Elizabethtown venue, where the tradition of gathering neighbors around the table goes back over 200 years — a fitting home for an evening built on shared meals and community care.

Each guest fills a handcrafted bowl with soup, symbolizing the reality that a simple bowl and meal can mean everything to someone in need.

Proceeds from this year's gathering directly support Warm Blessings' day-to-day operations and programming — the meals, groceries, showers, and laundry services our neighbors rely on every week.

Cocktail hour doubles as your first look at the silent auction gallery — browse in person while bidding happens on Givebutter, right from your phone.

Celebrity bowl-building sessions will be scheduled in January 2027 — details to follow.
