The mission of WBOI is to strengthen the cultural, civic, and social fabric of the communities we serve, and to engage audiences with content that enriches the human experience.

Singo at The Fairfield includes heavy hors d'oeuvres and your admission includes one player card for Singo. Throughout the night, expect to socialize with lovers of public media and those who work at WBOI. Musical themes will include pop tunes, local artists and even your favorite public radio show theme songs.

Local programming is produced by staff and volunteers. WBOI is 100% local and listener-funded; donors (aka "members") account for the majority of funding, followed by local and regional foundations, and then local businesses that underwrite our programming.
