This October we will be hosting our 3rd Annual Tell Cancer To Go #TakeAHike fundraiser to raise the critical funds needed to sustain our programs and services that are 100% free to the communities we serve. Join the movement as we collectively walk, run, hike, or stroll on 10/25/25!

Donate via the button at the top of this page! Here are just a few examples of how your gift makes an impact:

- $50 supports our live and on-demand wellness classes
- $100 supports the weekly support groups we offer for early-stage, metastatic, and inflammatory breast cancer.
- $500 enables us to produce a weekly podcast filled with inspiration and evidence-based information
- $1000 supports our Educational Scholars program

1. Register for #TakeAHike2025

How It Works:

Register for #TakeAHike2025: Click the "Register/Donate" button at the top right-hand side of the page. You will be prompted to sign up and will have the option to then start a team, join a team, or make a donation.
Start A Team: Click the "Join/Start a Team" button up above and you will be prompted to set up your profile! Next, you will be prompted to set up your team's fundraising page.
Join an Existing Team: Click the "Join/Start a Team" button up above and you will be prompted to set up your profile! Next, you will be prompted to select the team you would like to join.
Want to donate and support someone who is telling cancer to go #TakeAHike? Scroll to the top of the page and click on "Donate to a Team" in the top right-hand corner and you will have the option to donate to a team or an individual person!

Where Can I Hike?

The short answer is, anywhere! Find a path you love and get outdoors!

SurvivingBreastCancer.org (SBC) has volunteers in select who will be identifying a specific location and meeting point if you are in those areas. We will continue to add to our volunteer list and locations as more become available but remember, you are not limited to these locations! You can literally organize your hike in your own neighborhood!

- Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden, Minneapolis, MN
- Meet at the Theodore Wirth Lake Playground parking lot, northeast of the Theodore Wirth Pkwy and Glenwood Ave intersection, north of the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden. We’ll enter the garden via the Back Gate. No fee for parking or entrance. This is northeast of Hwy 100 and I394, and west of downtown Minneapolis.
