We were on ABC 27. Now we need you.

On October 21, ABC 27 News in Tallahassee told our story: a Panacea ministry opening a store where nothing costs more than $5, a food pantry, and a base for Hurricane Isaias relief. The doors open November 1 in Carrabelle. The lease is signed and the work is ready. What we need now is the money to get rolling.

What your gift does

$25 helps stock the food pantry for families walking in on opening day
$50 helps put a new tire on our relief truck
$100 goes toward the repair bill to get the relief truck back on the road
$250 helps buy the shelving and racks the store needs to open
$1,000 covers a rental truck, fuel and a load of water, tarps and cleaning supplies for one relief run to Isaias families

The truck

Kurt Lent, our Senior Trustee, donated his own 2006 Ford F-350 diesel flatbed to the ministry. On October 22, Big Bend Towing hauled it to Tobin's Auto & Diesel in Carrabelle. It needs electrical repair and 7 new tires before it can haul relief supplies, store donations and food.

The store

Open 7 AM to 7 PM, every day. Clothing, household goods, books and children's items, with nothing over $5. A food pantry. Free family nights, canning classes and storm-ready programs. The same building is our year-round base for donations and storm relief, so when the next hurricane hits, the supplies and people are already in place.

Real food that lasts

We put up our own food: cooked, sealed and good on the shelf, in glass jars we use again and again. We're building a canning kitchen to put up clean, chemical-free food for our neighbors, and to teach others to do the same.

Who we are
