Welcome to the historic Wet Paint Silent Auction! All art up for auction has been created on Castro Theater history by local artists and community!

This auction is the culmination of WET PAINT, our three month exhibition that presented the former film screen from the Castro Theatre as a blank canvas for all to create on. Many of these pieces are the result of many public collaborators coming together as a community and celebrating the history of this canvas. Other works are generously created by artists who are part of the Queer AF family, and

Many of these works are also framed by the original old growth pine floorboards from the auditorium of the theatre, lovingly restored and created by Nathaniel J. Bice and Devlin Shand.

This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a piece of Castro history, and a vital way to support the mission of Queer Arts Featured in creating access and opportunity for Queer artists in the Bay Area!
