ICON Water Trails is a regionally inclusive recreational confluence connecting culture, conservation, and adventure by empowering our waterways. When complete, ICON will connect more than 150 miles of water trails across Central Iowa.

About the Event

The Wild Prairie Showdown is a collaborative, high-energy event that features four participants competing to be named MVP — Most Valuable Philanthropist. Competitors for the Great Outdoors Foundation and ICON Water Trails will go head-to-head in a friendly pseudo-pageant including fundraising, fashion show, and interview components. As a guest at the Wild Prairie Showdown, you'll participate in live voting and donating in support of your selected competitor and team. Enjoy local food, hosted bar, engaging company, and this one-of-a-kind experience advancing conservation and recreation in our region. Come dressed to impress in your best interpretation of "formal flannel!"
