Lakes and Bridges Charter School is a public school in Easley, SC, serving students in grades 1 - 8. Our school is unique in that all of our students have dyslexia; we provide direct, specialized, structured, and multi-sensory instruction-- beneficial for all learners and absolutely vital for those with dyslexia.

Despite any challenges they might have with the structure of language, our student innovators are bright, resilient, empathetic, and creative. They encourage one another and celebrate each other's successes. They truly make the world a better place.

As our 8th graders prepare for high school, we strive to equip them with experiences that allow them to develop their communication skills, identify interests, strengthen support networks, and bond with each other. One such experience is the 8th grade field trip that helps them learn about the world around them, practice real-world skills in self reliance and communication, and strengthen their relationships beyond the classroom. This year's trip will take these student innovators to Atlanta where they will tour multiple area attractions and experience what "The Big Peach" has to offer.
