I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer on 9/26/23 and my world got turned upside down. I completed 12 treatments of carbo-taxol, 4 round of AC, one lumpectomy, and 15 rounds of radiation. Breast cancer has taken so much from me. I don’t recognize myself when I look in the mirror. It is hard to get up each day and put on a brave face but every day I do or at least I try to.
My story is not over, it’s one I continue to live daily. And I share not for sympathy but in hopes to bring awareness to breast cancer that seems to be in the faces of so many young women. Breast cancer can take a hike!!
