Katherine Wallraven is a proud third-generation Bartow County and Cartersville educator dedicated to serving her community. Currently, she serves as the Assistant Principal at Cass High School, where she oversees fine arts, English language arts, world languages, social media and marketing, talent acquisition, 9th-grade discipline, and bus discipline. Katherine is deeply committed to fostering a positive and engaging school environment for all students.
Since beginning her career in education in 2014, Katherine has made a meaningful impact throughout Bartow County Schools, serving at Allatoona Elementary, Cloverleaf Elementary, and Cass High School as both a teacher and instructional leader, before making the move into administration last school year. She brings a wealth of experience and passion to her work, rooted in her family's longstanding dedication to education.
Katherine is married to Dustin Wallraven, and together they have two children, John and Ellie, who also attend Bartow County Schools. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys traveling—especially trips to Walt Disney World—cooking and watching football with her family.
Her passion for helping others was further inspired by the incredible work of the Red Door Food Pantry in supporting families and children in the community. The ability to provide food and nourishment to families within our community is something that is pivotal to educating students. Katherine is honored to run for Mardi Gras Court, eager to advocate for those in need, and give back to the community she holds dear.
