Cartersville’s own Meredith Head Bruno is on a mission to turn Mardi Gras magic into real help for neighbors in need.
She’s thrilled to accept the nomination to raise funds for the 2026 Mardi Gras Benefit supporting the Red Door Pantry—conveniently located right in her own neighborhood. A proud third-generation Cartersville native (and the unofficial, self-proclaimed Ambassador of Bartow County), Meredith believes Cartersville is the center of the universe—and she’s raising her two bonus boys to believe it too. The daughter of Joe and Debbie Head, and happily married to her fun-loving husband, she embraces every chance to celebrate the people and places she loves. When she’s not cheering on her hometown, you’ll find her walking the streets with her dogs, spreading smiles and soaking up the charm of the place she calls home. For Meredith, true hometown pride starts with taking care of our neighbors, and she’s excited to rally the community—beads, boys, and puppies in tow—to make a lasting impact right here in Cartersville.
