Plant the Vine, in partnership with Silver Lake Wine and Guelaguetza, is pleased to announce the world's first Oaxacan Food and Wine Mashup to help us fund our programs for high school seniors in Social History and Biology through hands-on experience in viticulture. The festa includes food and wine, merch for sale and a blind art auction. When: Saturday, September 21, from 5p-7p. Where: Silver Lake Wine Tickets start at $30. There will be a silent art auction as well as the rollout of Plant the Vine merch. Please come and learn about and support Plant the Vine's educational work with at-risk high school students, and inspiring them to attend college. Plant the Vine has also partnered with the nonprofit C.A.K.E., which promotes healthy living, mindfulness and entrepreneurship to give marginalized youth the tools to escape poverty.
