Each year HYU Spiritual Life & Learning Society has an annual community workshop & celebration to bring in our new year. This annual event focuses on leadership, traditional practices & techniques for self reflection, self healing & self care. Our theme this year is“Spiritual Health & Healing.”

Spirit health is an integration of all dimensions of human wellness. It is a combination of the divine (called by many names) & wholeness. Spiritual health creates meaning in life, cultivates selflessness and ethics, and is based on individual perceptions convincing us of our ability to survive & thrive. There are many modalities & systems that contribute to spiritual health.

The purpose of this event is to promote Spiritual Healthcare modalities & systems in local communities utilizing the self study principles. We will have speakers & practitioners that will give grounding on how to assess spiritual health, create a plan of action for treatment & inspire all to choose the path of divinity.

This event is for the beginner, those who are already on the path & even those who are seasoned in search of a community to collaborate or partner with.

Our Speakers are:

Larry Cherry, Founder of University of Life Itself; How would our life be changed if we were completely aware of our life purpose? What if we fully overstood that our purpose is to learn and teach about the potential of oneness? Larry Cherry will facilitate a short conversation on the benefits of this mindset. Each attendee will receive a free gift of 1/2 hour phone consultation on the subject of their choice

Dr. Nuani (Karen) Witty is the Cofounder and CSO of Nuaceutical. She is a Clinical Research Scientist and Holistic Health Practitioner that has dedicated her life to clinical research and drug development for the last 32 years. She conducted scientific research at Columbia University, Rockefeller University and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute and worked in the Biopharmaceutical industry. Dr. Nuani was involved in studies that discovered the genes causing diabetes, obesity and various cancers. During her career, she interacted and worked closely with scientists from a wide array of institutions (e.g. the Astrazeneca, Merck, Pfizer, Wyeth, CDC, FDA, Johnson & Johnson, NIH, USDA, etc.) focusing on research and drug development to bring new diagnostics and drugs to the market. Tchiya Amet has always been drawn to the Light as a young student of Galactic Astronomy on her way to becoming an astronaut. As a young homeschooling mother, she studied and LIVED Indigenous Cultural Astronomy. As a musician, Reggae, World Music and, Turtle Island Music, Kemetic Devotional World Music, with a career spanning 3 decades, she brings wisdom of the 4 Directions to Music, Sharing the Light of Truth through Music.
