Match Month is a month-long campaign to help local nonprofits grow their endowed funds at Your Community Foundation. 100% of your donation goes to the fund of your choosing, building long-term, sustainable support for local causes.

A nonprofit endowment is a permanent fund that provides lasting financial stability. Donations are invested, and only a portion of the earnings is spent each year while the principal continues to grow. This creates a reliable, ongoing source of income that helps nonprofits plan for the future and sustain their programs, no matter what challenges arise.

Thanks to the generous support of the Patterson Family Foundation, every gift made during November will be doubled up to $100,000, making your impact go even further.

How the match works:

50% of the match is added to the nonprofit’s endowed fund.
50% supports the Foundation’s Operating Endowment, ensuring YCF’s long-term sustainability.

The more a nonprofit raises, the greater their share of the match and the greater their lasting impact in Allen County.

Disclaimer: If total donations exceed our $100,000 goal, the match will become proportional rather than dollar-for-dollar. This approach allows us to encourage continued giving to participating organizations while working within our limited pool of matching funds.
