Ruth French, LAM’s former director and violin teacher of 62 years, has generously gifted our school $100,000 from the recent sale of her violin– turning her instrument into opportunities for generations to come.

We honor the legacy of Ruth and her husband Robert French, LAM’s founder, by naming our recital hall and library and by matching their gift with $100,000 from our community to support need-based scholarships, facility improvements, and organizational growth.
