Our Mission

Zen Coast Cares is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved youth through financial literacy and scholarship opportunities. We equip young people with the knowledge and resources they need to achieve financial independence as adults, so they can create lasting, positive change in their own lives and communities.

The Problem We're Solving

The system rarely teaches personal finance, and the effects show up fast: over 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, and 69% of households have less than $1,000 in emergency savings. Without early access to financial education, underserved youth are set up to repeat that cycle. We're here to break it.

How We're Making a Difference

• Empowering Education — financial literacy workshops, resources, and educational sponsorships that build real-world money skills

• Supporting Futures — scholarships that open the door to higher education for underserved youth

• Guidance and Support — mentorship pairing students with experienced professionals

• Building Connections — community initiatives that foster unity and resilience

Your Impact

Every dollar helps a student build real financial skills, cover the cost of higher education, or connect with a mentor who's been where they are. Our students consistently tell us the same thing: these programs changed how they think about saving, planning, and their own future — moving them from surviving to building something lasting.

Join Us

Join us on this journey of empowerment as we inspire and educate the next generation. Whether you give, mentor, or spread the word, your support directly funds financial literacy programs and scholarships for youth who are ready to build a better future.
