The SheSTEAM Rising Star Award celebrates one extraordinary young woman in STEAM each year — and gives her the seed investment to launch or grow her business.

Our 2025 Rising Star is from Ghana. She is determined to transform her skills into a sustainable business — but like most young women entrepreneurs, she lacks access to startup capital.

This is where YOU come in.

Together, we’re raising $1,000 in seed funding to support her training and the launch of her very first venture. This isn’t charity — it’s impact investment. Your contribution helps her build a business that can generate returns for her and her community.

How the Seed Fund Works:

🌱 Farm Investment (6–12 months) → seed money leases land, buys tools, covers farm inputs → crops grown and sold → profits reinvested
🛍 Microbusiness Investment (3–6 months) → small business launched (1st crop)→ cash flow begins in 3 months → profits reinvested

$10 – Supporter → Join the investment team + receive Rising Star updates
$25 – Backer → Name listed on the Rising Star Honor Roll (website)
$50 – Builder → Support her training + receive quarterly updates
$100 – Partner → Fund startup supplies + listed as an early-stage investor
$250 – Growth Investor → Accelerate her launch + spotlight in updates
$500 – Visionary → Help cover half her startup fund + recognition on social media
$1,000 – Founding Investor → Fully fund the Rising Star Awardee + honored as a founding investor on all reports
