At John Hersey High School, our orchestra program continues to grow because of the experiences that push our students artistically, build confidence, and strengthen our community. This year’s Pizzacato event with Mark Wood brought incredible energy to our program and gave our musicians a chance to perform at a level they’ll never forget.

Now we’re setting our sights on what’s next.

We’re planning another event that will bring a new guest artist to work directly with our students, introduce fresh and engaging repertoire, and create a performance experience that brings our community together in a powerful way. The details are still in motion, but our goals are clear:

Bring in an artist who will challenge and inspire our students.
Create opportunities that expand their musical imagination.
Deliver a concert experience that leaves a lasting impact on everyone in the room.
