Story
Turn your sound on to enjoy "Juliette" by DJ Stretchman, a LiveSET alum!
Your gift to Young Audiences helps bring artful JOY to 50,000+ students in our region this year! Students like Riley, who apprenticed with professional sound engineers to explore their interest and break into a male-dominated industry; and Kyle, who learned how listening and respect are key when playing Taiko drums in an ensemble of his peers. The work Young Audiences fosters with professional development and by connecting local artists with local students drives curiosity and creativity to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow. Please thoughtfully consider this opportunity to join in this important work making arts opportunities abundantly accessible in our region.
Partnership Highlight: Friends of Noise
Friends of Noise is an amazing organization that seeks to transform the culture of BIPOC and LGBTQ+ youth access to the music industry. They foster a healthy ecosystem for all ages to thrive by meeting young people where they are and by facilitating opportunities for immersion into a safer arts community while uplifting youth voices.
"We are thrilled to have this ongoing partnership with Young Audiences! Through the LiveSET sound engineering workshops, we have demonstrated our alignment with Young Audiences in developing and nurturing teen sound engineers. We are honored to support these teens as they contribute to a vibrant all ages music ecosystem now and far into the future." - Andre Middleton, Executive Director of Friends of Noise
Many of Young Audiences' LiveSET alumni have gone on to further their music career connections with Friends of Noise, and we could not be more pleased to work alongside Andre and the Friends of Noise team. Learn more and support Friends of Noise HERE!
