What? Really?

I'm not making that number up.

Every year in Zambia, there are roughly 35,000 children born. Of those, more than 2,000 of those children will not live to see the age of five.

Over the span of 5 years, that will equal 10,000+ children not living out the rest of their lives.

So, we have a giant problem on our hands, what is the solution?

That is where we come in.

WHO WE ARE

Havenbase Ministries is a non-profit, boots-on-the-ground organization encouraging medical well-being, education for children, clean water, and agricultural practices in rural areas of Zambia.

We have been creating wells for many years, advancing schools and education for just as long, and even creating sustainable food via agriculture and farming. We are new to helping the medical field reach its God-given potential in these rural areas of Africa, but we are connected with the resources to make it happen.

OUR GOAL

Havenbase is raising $275,000 in order to build a community center in the rural district of Chikankata. With over 98,000 people in this rural district, many are left without trustworthy medical care especially for mothers, newborns, and young children.

This center will be sustainable and life-giving in more ways than one.

In addition to the medical center and education facility, the center will give the local economy a boost by bringing in small shops, creating sustainability. A church will be hosted Sunday mornings in the chapel of the building with events happening throughout the week.

Life giving work will be rooted in sharing the Gospel with the community, becoming a beacon of hope.
