The Event Experience

The Calderon Dance Foundation invites you to a specialized evening dedicated to the future of movement. This event serves as a platform to honor the vision of Shannon Calderon by bringing together artists, advocates, and supporters who believe that the art of dance should be accessible to all. Throughout the evening, we will showcase the talent that emerges when barriers to entry are removed and diverse voices are given the spotlight.

Connecting to the Cause

Our mission is centered on building an accessible community that fosters equitable opportunities. Currently, many aspiring dancers are limited by systemic obstacles. This event is designed to bridge that gap. By attending and contributing, you are directly supporting programs that provide scholarships and technical resources to underrepresented performers. Your support ensures that financial or social standing does not dictate who gets to take the stage.

Measured Impact

Your participation leads to tangible outcomes for our dance community:

Professional Development: Every contribution helps fund advanced training sessions for local artists.
Equitable Access: We aim to provide 100 percent of the necessary gear and studio time for our fellowship recipients.
Community Reach: We are working to expand our programming to reach 1,000 additional participants this year.

The success of our mission depends on the collective investment of our partners and neighbors. With your support, we can continue to build a foundation where every dancer has the chance to excel. We invite you to join us in this investment.
