Camp Fido Week 2

Camp Fido is a week-long summer camp for kids to come to the LIFE House For Animals shelter to learn more about: - What an animal shelter does. - The importance of animal shelters. - Responsible pet ownership. - Taking care of our shelter dogs and cats while they are guests at the shelter. - Learning about pet therapy dogs. - Learning from veterinarians. - Engaging in arts and crafts. Week 2 - Open to kids 10-13!!! The second week of Camp Fido is June 23-27 from 8 AM - 12noon each day. Drop-off begins at 7:45 AM. The location is the shelter at 14 Fido Ct, Frankfort, KY 40601. One week of camp costs $175 per camper (or $125 for former adopters or volunteers). The camp is led by Wendy Ridenour, an educator and a trained LIFE House For Animals volunteer, along with other trained volunteers. A t-shirt is included with camp registration.
