Camp Haiastan has served as a place for our youth to come together and celebrate their culture, learn about their history, and discover their roots. Generation after generation, Camp Haiastan continues to ignite a flame within the diaspora that will never be extinguished. We offer countless outdoor activities including swimming, athletics, hiking, ropes course and boating combined with Armenian cultural and education programs that bond our campers with our heritage. The friendships formed at Camp Haiastan promise to last a lifetime!

For 69 continuous summers, our Camp has been synonymous with laughter, fond childhood memories, a unique Armenian environment and a safe camping experience. As previously announced, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was not possible to provide a quality program in a safe environment. To assure the safety of our campers and our staff, Camp Haiastan is closed this summer.

We share the sadness felt  by  our campers, staff, parents and alumni.  We understand that our campers were looking forward to being with their friends at Camp.  Even though that is not be possible this year, our Executive and Summer Directors are currently planning a week of “Virtual Camp” for each of our three age groups.  These will take place from July 20th to August 7th.

As you can imagine, the closure of the Camp is taking a serious financial toll.  We have estimated that the Camp will lose approximately $125,000 by not opening this summer.  We need help covering this loss.  Please consider buying an extra raffle ticket or two this year.  Any little bit will help close this season’s financial gap.

Tickets are $100 each.  Drawings will be held throughout the summer with THREE $5000 prizes.

Please remember all the great times we all spent at Camp by making a donation. Your extra help this year will ensure Camp is able to open in 2021 on a strong financial footing.

Camp Haiastan is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
