Two problems. One solution.

Right now, two things are happening at the same time, in the same country.
Shelters are overcrowded with capable, intelligent dogs who are running out of time. And families who could live more independently with a service dog are priced out of getting one — service dog training can cost $20,000 to $40,000 per placement, and the wait can stretch for years.

The K9 Comeback Project exists to close that gap.

We pull qualified dogs from rescues and shelters, evaluate them for the temperament and drive that service work demands, and invest in the training that turns a second chance into a working partnership. Then we place those dogs with people who need them — without the financial barrier that keeps service dogs out of reach for most families.

What your gift does

Every donation moves a dog through the pipeline that gets them home:

Pulls a dog from a shelter before time runs out.
Funds the evaluation that determines whether they have what it takes.
Pays for the months of training that build a true working dog.
Places that dog with a family who has been waiting for a way forward.

Small gifts move this forward. Every dollar funds a real step in a real dog's comeback.

Thank you for being part of the start.
