The Canstruction built by team “United We Can” celebrates

the 250th birthday of the United States of America

On one side of the poster Uncle Sam is depicted with a slice

of birthday cake, doing his famous pointing gesture. Uncle

Sam is one of the most patriotic symbols from American

history. The iconic wartime poster called on all Americans

to do everything they could to assist in the ongoing war

effort. From that point on, Uncle Sam has served as a

symbol of Unity and dedication in the United States

The other side of the display shows the United States flag

waving in the wind. All 13 stripes (representing the original

13 British colonies) and 50 stars (representing the current

50 states), are shown. The USA flag has gone through

many iterations over the years, but has always stood for

Freedom and Independence.
