Join StandingFree for an evening with Captain Barry “Butch” Wilmore, retired U.S. Navy captain and NASA astronaut, as he shares an extraordinary story of faith, perseverance, and trusting God through the unexpected.

In June 2024, Wilmore launched aboard Boeing’s Starliner for what was planned as an eight-day mission. Technical problems extended his time in space to 286 days before he returned safely to Earth aboard a SpaceX Dragon capsule in March 2025. Through months of uncertainty, separation from family, and life aboard the International Space Station, his Christian faith remained a steady foundation.

Families and students are especially welcome to hear Captain Wilmore reflect on space, perseverance, God’s sovereignty, and trusting Him when plans change far beyond our control.

VIP Meet & Greet @ 4:45 PM: Come join Captain Barry Wilmore for the party before the main event. Reserve your spot.
