Parents often spend months, even years, searching for infant care, only to discover there are no available openings when they need them most. Many delay returning to work, reduce their hours, or leave the workforce entirely because child care simply isn't available.

At the same time, child care providers struggle with rising operating costs and limited resources to maintain their businesses.

3CWI's Care Connect-Reserve (CCR) was created to solve both challenges.

Developed by the Child Care Coalition of Wisconsin (3CWI), the Care Connect-Reserve is an innovative online platform that allows expecting families to locate and reserve future infant care openings before their child is born. Families gain peace of mind when planning for their return to work, while participating child care providers receive financial support through reservation revenue that strengthens the sustainability of their businesses.

This pilot will launch in Lincoln, Langlade, and Wood Counties, creating a first-of-its-kind model that can be replicated throughout Wisconsin.
