Same Mission New Model

Brief History

Truth Renewed has been on mission with the local Church for the last ten years 🙏. In these last ten years we have offered thousands of hours of free biblical counseling and discipleship. In 2019 we became a training center for the Association of Biblical Counselors, and since then, we have certified over 200 biblical counselors who are serving in local churches and other nonprofit organizations. In the wake of this work, the LORD has given us a stronger heart towards equipping the local church to help close the "gospel-care gap."

Gospel-Care Crisis

Our communities are overwhelmed with increasing societal pressures on families, more extracurricular activities, more hours in the office, and very little time to cultivate the meaningful things that a life of faith calls us to. In our secularized culture, Christians must navigate societal norms that are antithetical to a biblical worldview. The mental health crisis has impacted the local Church, and we have very little defense in combating it from a theological lens and engaging with it comprehensively, where a psychological label carries more weight than our identities in Jesus Christ. Many Christians can articulate their psychological profiles better than articulating their faith and the hope within them

The Church is in a gospel-care crisis; we want to help!

Helpful Analogy

We believe the church is like the hospital; everyone needs care, but not to the same extent. Everyone in the hospital, at the staff level, is providing some level of care. There are providers in the ER that help in crisis care and there are nurses that are administering care at the lower levels, care is everywhere.
