About Us

Carol’s Light is a community-driven support program created by The Jimmy Simpson Foundation to serve individuals and families affected by brain injuries. Named in honor of Carol Simpson and her unwavering advocacy for brain injury survivors, this program exists to ensure no one has to walk this journey alone.

We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at the Foundation in Rock Spring, GA. Each gathering offers emotional connection, helpful resources, and educational insight tailored to caregivers, survivors, and loved ones navigating life after brain injury.

What makes Carol’s Light unique is its blend of peer support, practical guidance, and uplifting community events. From guest speakers and family outings to caregiver-only circles and seasonal socials, our program creates a safe, welcoming space for healing, growth, and friendship.

As part of The Jimmy Simpson Foundation’s mission, Carol’s Light continues to grow—expanding its reach, building awareness, and offering a lifeline to those facing the often-isolating challenges of brain injury.
