The George Washington Carver Community Center has been a cornerstone of South Peoria for over 100 years. It is proud to offer our Early Childcare Program, a vital resource for working parents and guardians. We provide affordable to free childcare, offering families a much-needed lifeline amid rising childcare costs.

But we do more than care for children; we nurture them. Our dedicated team helps little ones reach essential developmental milestones in a safe, loving, and supportive environment. For many families, access to quality child care remains out of reach. That’s where we come in. Beyond care, we provide essentials like clothing, formula, diapers, shoes, and even beds, meeting urgent needs with compassion and respect.
