Casa Culebra has been a project in the making for the last 8 years. Created by Laura Hernandez (they/them | elle), a queer and trans, disabled, Latine/Chicane, who has worked in creating safer and more joyous containers for queer, trans, gender expansive, and 2-spirit individuals for over a decade. They are now ready to share their vision of combining our inherent relationship to nature with goals of inspiring and sustaining us in the resistant and liberatory work we do everyday.

Casa Culebra has just launched as a fiscally sponsored project of Mockingbird Incubator and is hoping to run outdoor offerings this year and finally launch their Emerging Outing Program in 2027! Since we are in our early beginnings we will need your support to make it happen! We have our first fundraising goal of $1,000!

In addition, we are hoping to create a strong and reliable group of long terms donors that believe in what we are doing. Casa Culebra aspirations to divest from heavily relying on grants to operate and would love to have a majority of our funding come from community contributions.
