We are so excited to be producing The SpongeBob Musical which is based on the beloved animated series created by Stephen Hillenburg and features a book by Kyle Jarrow, with original songs by Yolanda Adams, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Sara Bareilles, Jonathan Coulton, Alexander Ebert of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Flaming Lips, Lady A, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, Panic! At the Disco, Plain White T’s, They Might Be Giants and T.I., and songs by David Bowie, Tom Kenny and Andy Paley. Additional lyrics are by Jonathan Coulton, with additional music by Tom Kitt. The musical production was conceived by Tina Landau.

SpongeBob and all of Bikini Bottom face catastrophe until a most unexpected hero rises to take center stage. The bold, original musical celebrates friendship, cooperation, and the power of unity and inclusion. The power of optimism really can save the world.

Our cast of 70 children ranging in ages 5-18 come from over 10 different communities will be seen in Bailey Auditorium located at Manchester High School July 31-August 3, 2024.

There are many advertisement opportunities available between our summer production and upcoming Golf Tournament on August 16, 2024.

CAST children's theatre, located in Manchester, CT is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization that helps to preserve the arts. Ticket sales and registration fees only cover a portion of the expenses required to produce high quality theatre. We work hard at keeping our participation fees as low as we can and we do not turn children away due to financial constraints. Advertisements and sponsorships offered at different levels go toward helping to support our overall program and production costs.

It is because of the generosity of people like you that allow so many children to keep a smile on their face as they perform for you and experience the arts.
