Why I’m Fundraising: ❤️🤍💙⚾

I’m incredibly excited—and truly honored—to take the field for the 2026 Verve Celebrity Softball Classic on September 12 at Riders Field in Frisco (DFW Suburb)! This one is especially meaningful to me because softball has my heart. I started playing at seven and spent most of my childhood as a fast-pitch pitcher, also playing second base and shortstop. I later played co-ed softball as an adult and eventually found myself back on the field coaching my son’s baseball team. I even still have the glove my coach helped me pick out in fourth grade! ❤️⚾ But this event means much more to me than getting back on the field. My first job after college was in the defense industry, where I worked on U.S. Army programs, and military service runs throughout my family. Both of my grandfathers served, along with my dad, father-in-law, nephew, cousin, and other family members. I have tremendous gratitude for our veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and the families who support them. That makes being part of this event—especially as we recognize the 25th anniversary of September 11—incredibly meaningful. My goal is to raise $1,500! Every donation, no matter the amount, helps support the charitable organizations and communities this event brings together to serve. And sharing my fundraising page helps so much, too! Thank you for supporting me, this event, and most importantly, the heroes and organizations we’re coming together to celebrate and support. Now it’s time to dust off that softball glove, raise $1,500, and hope I don’t need an anime-style power-up by the fourth inning. 😉😂⚾ Let’s play ball! ❤️🤍💙⚾
