But in these challenging times, families in our community are struggling more than ever.

At this very moment, parents are forced to make impossible choices between paying rent, buying groceries, securing adequate childcare, or purchasing needed medications. With the federal funding freeze and rising costs, our ability to serve these families is at risk. That’s why we’re asking for your urgent support.

Provide Quality and Affordable Housing, ensuring families and senior citizens have a safe place to live.
Quality and affordable childcare- gives working parents peace of mind while their children learn and receive loving care.
After School Program- This program keeps children safe, engaged, and learning beyond school hours.
Free Tutoring Services- This program ensures that students receive the academic support and resources needed to excel in school at no cost to families.
Summer Educational Enrichment Program—This program prevents summer learning loss and allows students to explore new interests. It boosts academic skills, builds confidence, and develops social and life skills, heavily emphasizing science, math, reading, agriculture, and technology (STEAM). Weekly field trips expose students to culture, art, music, and career exploration.
Summer Teen Workforce Development Program- This program provides students grades 7-9 the opportunity to build job skills, improve soft skills, develop leadership skills, explore careers, and promote equity. Students can stay off the streets and are placed in a positive learning environment, helping to lower the juvenile crime rate, which typically spikes during summer break.
Nutritious Meals and Snacks for Children- We serve FREE meals to children in our child development center, after-school, and summer programs.
Youth Leadership Academy—This FREE program allows area high school students to develop leadership skills, build confidence and self-awareness, encourage civic engagement, promote goal-setting and planning, create a safe space for growth, cultivate future leaders, and provide mentorship and role models. This program consists of eight sessions over eight weeks and is offered twice a year. Students receive dinner at each session. Family, friends, and community leaders celebrate these students' accomplishments with a graduation banquet where each student receives a certificate of completion and small graduation gift.
Scholarships & Education Programs—Empower youth and adults to succeed by providing access to learning opportunities at little to no cost to the participants or their families.
Holiday and School Break Food Pantry—ensuring families can access food, particularly during the most difficult times: summer, school breaks, and holidays.

As a nonprofit, we do more than provide services; we also create jobs. Our organization employs teachers, childcare workers, cooks, drivers, office managers, program directors, and teens. Every paycheck we issue contributes to the local economy. Our staff spends their earnings at grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, and other small and local businesses, circulating dollars back into the community. We invest in workforce development and train young people and adults.

So, while our mission is to serve, our impact includes economic growth. We are part of the employment pipeline, especially in communities where opportunities are limited. When nonprofits like ours are funded and thriving, the entire local economy benefits.
