At CCAP, we believe climate action should not feel distant, abstract, or out of reach. It should be something students can see, teachers can explain, families can practice, and communities can grow together. Through our Recycle Organics program, we help schools, households, and local leaders turn organic waste into something valuable: compost, healthier soil, fresh food, gardens, education, and opportunity. What begins as a simple act — separating food scraps, planting seeds, caring for a garden — becomes part of a much larger story of climate action and community change.

For students, this work makes climate education hands-on and hopeful.

For teachers, it provides practical tools to bring science, food systems, waste reduction, and environmental stewardship into the classroom.
