In the second of our “Building a Transnational Political Solidarity Economy” conversations, Luz Zambrano of the Center for Cooperative Development and Solidarity (CCDS) and Milvian Aspuac of the Women’s Association for the Development of of Sacatepéquez (AFEDES) and the National Mayan Weavers Movement of Guatemala Ruchajikik ri qana’ojbäl will engage in a discussion exploring their experience building women-led collectivist interventions to capitalism in both Guatemala and the United States. The panelist will share their individual experiences and commonalities as well as their dynamic visions for the future. They will engage a transnational group of participants in an interactive conversation. This conversation will be moderated by Dr. Sayra Pinto and interpreted by ENES Translations.
