Why We’re Fighting for Clear Cell Sarcoma Research
Our son, Luke Morse, was a brilliant and shy, but determined young man who lived his life with heart. At just 19 years old, he was taken from us by Clear Cell Sarcoma—a rare and aggressive cancer with no known cure. He was hopeful and full of dreams—he loved video games, chess, debate, and math. Luke planned to be a Fightin’ Texas Aggie and study engineering, with aspirations of building a better world. Even during his hardest days, he never stopped learning, loving, and lifting up those around him. Inspired by his legacy, our family established a scholarship in his honor at Texas A&M University and have committed ourselves to funding research that could one day save others.
We are heartbroken, but we are not hopeless. Through this fundraising effort, we aim to raise awareness and support critical research for Clear Cell Sarcoma—so that no family has to experience what we have. Please take a moment to read more about his story and legacy or watch this short video by Luke about his college aspirations. With your help, we can fight for a future where more lives are lived boldly—just like Luke lived his.
CCS is rare, but that shouldn’t mean hopeless. Because of its rarity, it’s overlooked, underfunded, and still has no effective treatments beyond what was available decades ago. We refuse to let that continue.
That’s why we’re launching another fundraiser in Luke’s memory—a simple but powerful goal:
💙 Find 20 people to commit to $10/month for two years to support CCS research. We want to generate $1,000 a month for research.
Together, we can change the future of Clear Cell Sarcoma.
