For over a century, United Way has been a driving force for positive change in Clark, Champaign, and Madison Counties. By fostering partnerships, mobilizing resources, and investing in programs focused on education, financial stability, and health, we've made a significant impact on our community. United Way brings together local organizations and resources to address complex challenges that no single entity can solve.

This past year, United Way invested $842,056 in our 3-county area and supported more than 44 non-profit programs. In our community, 1 in 7 people and 1 in 5 children face food insecurity. In the previous year, United Way funding enabled the distribution of over 4.2 million pounds of food to neighbors and provided more than 20,836 meals served to individuals.

Each month, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides a free monthly book to more than 1,500 children currently enrolled in Madison County. Research indicates that children who have access to books and are read to regularly from a young age are more likely to develop strong reading skills, leading to better academic performance and higher graduation rates.
