You probably know about the Bay to Baker Trail, and have even been on parts of it. The original concept of traversing Whatcom County from Bellingham Bay to the top of Mount Baker lives on, and Recreation Northwest is its community voice for completion. Certain segments are completed and pleasant to traverse, like the segment we will walk paralleling Orchard Street. Other segments haven't been completed and require traversing city streets or dangerous county roads.

We're here to share the vision of this historical and recreational gem with you, as well as guide you around the new Sunset Pond Trails. We appreciate Recreation Northwest for advocating for this trail's completion, and partnering with us on Celebrate Trails Day. It takes a village to get these kinds of projects done.
