Life #2- Alcida

Alcida has been a follower of Mwana since its inception and has celebrated through the years as lives like Exaucé's have been impacted. As part of Alcida's advocacy for Mwana, she invites you through this campaign to celebrate her birthday with a donation to Mwana to help provide an entire month's worth of support for a child like Exauce- your gift will go towards nutrition, medical care, supplies and education.

Mwana Villages is a grassroots organization in the Republic of Congo that provides refuge within orphanhood to vulnerable children and families. We provide refuge to vulnerable children and families in five specific and intentional ways:

We provide shelter to orphaned and vulnerable children at the Mwana Refuge.
We create safety for vulnerable children who may otherwise face trafficking, exploitation or death.
We employ trustworthy local staff who holistically and lovingly care for the children and families.
We unite each child to his family, either through family reunification or through adoption when needed.
We empower vulnerable wometoward stability, self-sufficiency and hope.
