Music & the Earth: Celebrating Creation

How might music help us experience creation, and our place within it, more deeply?

Join us for a special evening bringing together original music, environmental imagery, reflection, food, and community conversation as we explore our shared responsibility to care for creation and the living world.

Dr. Priya Parrotta of Music & the Earth International will present an approximately 30-minute audiovisual experience featuring her original music and carefully selected imagery. Through music and reflection, the program will invite us to consider the interconnectedness of people, animals, and the natural world.

Following the presentation, participants will be invited into a facilitated community conversation focused on climate, environmental stewardship, compassion, creation care, and the ways our values and worldviews influence how we relate to the Earth and one another.

The evening will conclude with fellowship over a complimentary climate-friendly Italian dinner, featuring spaghetti bolognese, garlic bread, salad, and dessert.

Rooted in compassion and care for the living world, this welcoming community event is open to people of all faiths and spiritual traditions, as well as agnostic, humanist, secular, and nature-centered perspectives. No particular religious belief or affiliation is required.
